The Robinson R22 is a very reliable two-seater, two-blade, piston engine helicopter designed by Frank Robinson.  It is a very popular helicopter due to its price and low operating costs; over three thousand six hundred have been built since 1979.

The Robinson R44 is faster than the R22 and can seat four people including the pilot.  It was first produced in 1992 and the latest model, Raven II (pictured) includes hydraulic flight controls and a fuel injected engine.


Schweizer 300

Schweizer 300

The Schweizer 300 is a purpose bulit trainer.  It was formerly produced by Hughes Helicopters and is now manufactured by Schweizer Aircraft.  The first aircraft, the Hughes 269 rolled off the production line in 1960s and served in the US Army as trainer until 1988.  The most current version, 300 CBI (pictured) has a more powerful fuel injected engine and automatic rotor engagement.
